What’s the difference between OEM and aftermarket windshields?
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) glass is produced by the same manufacturer that supplied your vehicle when it was new and typically includes the vehicle brand logo. Aftermarket windshields are designed to meet federal safety standards and are built to match the original specifications for fit and function when installed correctly.
For most drivers, the primary difference is branding. Both OEM and aftermarket glass are safe and reliable when installed properly and paired with correct ADAS recalibration when required.
If you prefer OEM glass, we’re happy to source and install it upon request.
Will insurance cover OEM?
Insurance coverage for OEM glass depends on your specific policy. Many insurance companies approve aftermarket glass as the standard replacement option. In most cases, OEM glass requires prior approval, an endorsement on your policy, or payment of the price difference. Occasionally, customers choose to pay upfront for OEM and submit documentation to their insurance company for reimbursement, but coverage is not guaranteed.
We’re always happy to review your claim details and explain your options so you can make the best decision for your vehicle and budget.
How do I set up payments using Klarna, Afterpay, or Affirm?

How long does a windshield replacement take?

Is your work guaranteed?
Absolutely! All our work comes with a lifetime warranty.
Will my price change after scheduling?
No. Unlike other companies, our quotes include all taxes, calibration, and fees upfront. You’ll know exactly what your paying.
How soon can I drive after a windshield replacement?
Our urethane that we use needs 30 minutes to cure before it’s safe to drive. We’ll let you know the exact time for your vehicle.
Do I need to be present for the mobile service?
No. As long as you leave us a key for the vehicle, you don’t have to be there. We’ll complete the work and send you a secure payment link so you can pay easily once the job is done.
Will a chip repair make the chip disappear?
A repair prevents the damage from spreading, but you may still see a small blemish. The goal is safety and stopping further damage, not making it invisible.
